Though I'm more lab-rat than lab-wife I do manage to fit in time for watching my favorite Bravo women between science experiments. I'm a neuroscience and molecular biology graduate student at Princeton University by day and aspiring science reporter by night. I work in a systems neuroscience lab studying acoustic communication using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. Other than that, all you really need to know about me is that I like photoshopping pictures of my boyfriend's cat and I like brunch. No, I Really Really Like Brunch! So much in fact that I briefly entertained the idea of the 'Biology of Brunch Blog.' But, if I'm really being honest with myself I was behind that idea more for the alliteration than I was for the hard hitting science reporting of French toast.
Hey! That's me, Alex.
